New jihadi mag encourages Muslims to mow Americans down with trucks

From the latest online jihadi magazine – produced in part by American Muslims.



The idea is to use a pickup truck as a mowing machine, not to mow grass but mow down the enemies of Allah.







May 2006 — Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student, rented an SUV and drove it through a crowded part of the campus — intentionally trying to hit people and wounding nine. In a series of letters to the student newspaper, he explained that he acted in obedience to Koranic dictates.

Before he drove a rented SUV onto the campus of the University of North Carolina and tried to run down and kill as many people as he could on March 3, Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar left a letter of explanation in his apartment. It is chillingly detached, almost clinical: “In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate. To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter to inform you of my reasons for premeditating and attempting to murder citizens and residents of the United States of America on Friday, March 3, 2006 in the city of Chapel Hill, North Carolina by running them over with my automobile and stabbing them with a knife if the opportunities are presented to me by Allah.”



In the letter, Taheri-azar identifies himself simply as “a servant of Allah.” He declares that “in the Qur’an, Allah states that the believing men and women have permission to murder anyone responsible for the killing of other believing men and women.…

Yemen’s al Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula has published chilling tips on How to Kill Americans in its second edition of the English online magazine Inspire.





UK Independent The 74-page issue advises would-be militants to open fire “at a crowded restaurant inWashington DC, at lunch hour”, in the hope of “knocking out a few government employees.



Muslim-American terrorist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki penned two of the articles, according to the SITE Intelligence Group. Awlaki is on a US government kill-or-capture list for his alleged role in the attempted Detroit plane bombing last Christmas.
