Have You Thanked a Vet Today?
Carol Brown
This election there were a good number of vets running for office. Some won. Some lost. Irrespective of the outcome, they all deserve a thank you from us. After being willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country, they threw their hat into the political ring, many facing enormous odds (such as Sean Bielat against Barney Frank, and Ilario Pantano against Mike McIntyre). But they did it because of love of country.
If you want to thank them, here is a list of all of those who ran, the outcome of the race, and a link to their contact page where you can send them a note or give a call.
