Most Chinese support China-Russia joint military drill

HONG KONG, Dec. 24 (Yonhap) -- Nine out of 10 Chinese support an anticipated China-Russia joint military drill that some watchers see as a response to joint military exercises involving the U.S., South Korea and Japan, according to an Internet poll released on Friday.



The online survey of 12,134 Internet users, conducted by the Chinese daily Global Times, found 11,864, or 98 percent of those surveyed supporting a joint China-Russia military exercise expected off the east of the Korean Peninsula early next year.
